Laura Lance and Rebecca Ellecamp have joined Studio PR as account manager and account coordinator, respectively. Founded by Melinda Hepp in January 2017, Studio PR leads and executes public relations campaigns for businesses, public agencies and nonprofits locally, statewide and nationally.
“I’m thrilled about this team, which was formed in response to an influx of new and exciting client opportunities,” said Hepp, principal of Studio PR. “Laura has worked in this industry for many years. She excels at strategically creating and executing communications programs and is beloved by clients. Rebecca brings a high level of thoughtfulness and curiosity to help us keep tabs on client activity and continue positive momentum.”
As account manager, Lance brings more than seven years of experience in public relations, marketing communications and related fields partnering with professional services clients spanning an array of industries. Her strategic and proactive approach to developing and implementing communications campaigns has led to increased market recognition and customer acquisition for her clients, including securing high-profile media stories in national and regional publications. A native of Sonoma County, Lance began her public relations career at a San Francisco agency before returning to the area.
A recent graduate in civic communications and media from Willamette University, Ellecamp joins Studio PR after internship stints with the agency in summer 2017 and 2018. Her marketing and outreach experience while earning her undergraduate degree, including as a communications intern, admissions ambassador, and social media manager for the student-run newspaper Willamette Collegian, directly align with the skills she now uses to assist her clients in telling their stories to broader audiences. Active in the Sonoma County community where she grew up, Ellecamp currently serves as a leader for the local chapter of youth group organization Young Life.
“Since founding Studio PR nearly two years ago, it’s been rewarding to partner with clients both hyper-locally in Sonoma County and nationally that are making positive differences in their industries,” added Hepp. “We love helping them flourish and feel the value public relations can bring to their marketing efforts.”
