London PR agency, The PHA Group, announced that they have been appointed by national healthcare charity Sue Ryder, to drive national awareness of the charity’s work to provide palliative, neurological and bereavement support to people across the UK.
The PHA Group will be responsible for raising awareness of the vital end of life care, bereavement support and neurological rehabilitation that Sue Ryder provides. The PHA Group, together with the in-house Sue Ryder press team, will deliver a series of campaigns that highlight the core focuses of the charity.
The first campaign ‘A Better Death’ launched last week and addressed the lack of conversation surrounding end of life care, death and bereavement in the UK, by encouraging the British public to openly talk about death.
The PHA group will deliver an always on press office as well as a series of campaign activations which will raise awareness of the incredible care and support Sue Ryder provides to people at the most difficult times of their lives.
Following the success of two recent projects that The PHA Group worked on for the charity, Sue Ryder have appointed them on a retained basis.
Sarah Brody, Head of PR at Sue Ryder, comments: “Many people know Sue Ryder because of our popular charity shop, but not enough people understand what it is that we do as a charity.
“Sue Ryder provides expert and compassionate support to people at the most difficult times of their lives. We provide palliative care for those with a terminal illness, both at our hospices across and in people’s homes; we provide a range of different bereavement support and we provide expert neurological care for those with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.
“Our aim is to be able to provide even more support to more people and we are very excited to be working with The PHA Group who I am confident will help raise our brand awareness and understanding on a national scale.
“We believe that The PHA Group are the right team to help us connect with a wider demographic and we are very excited to see what we can achieve together over the next year.”
Shelley Frosdick, Divisional Managing Director (Consumer & Third Sector) at The PHA Group, comments: “We are thrilled to be working with Sue Ryder on a series of compelling and thought provoking campaigns alongside proactive press office. Sue Ryder offers unique palliative, neurological and bereavement support topics we are very keen to keep at the forefront of the national news agenda.
“We’re delighted that The PHA Group has been appointed to support such an incredible charity and believe that we have the passion, skills and vast experience to increase brand awareness and understanding.”
