Leading independent PR agency The PHA Group is delighted to announce its appointment by innovative fundraising platform, TapSimple, as it launches virtual events and ticketing services for charities to help them thrive during the pandemic and adapt in an increasingly cashless society.

The PHA Group’s award-winning Technology & Innovation team has been tasked with building the media profile of TapSimple, which was founded by Alexander Coleridge and Tom Montague to address the challenges charities face in an increasingly cashless society. TapSimple is a proud Trusted Supplier of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and has already worked with some of the largest charities in the UK including NSPCC, The Felix Project, Mencap, Christian Aid and Children with Cancer UK.

Founded in April 2018, TapSimple helps the third sector raise more donations through its affordable fundraising devices which enable charities of all sizes to boost donations with contactless chip & pin systems and provides charities with the option of adding Gift Aid to donations to optimise fundraising. The company has just launched its virtual product and ticketing services to enable charities to host virtual fundraising events for engaging with stakeholders, volunteers and individuals online. This unique offering allows charities to continue to maximise their fundraising capabilities which is significant during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

TapSimple appointed The PHA Group because of the Technology & Innovation team’s experience and successful track record of working with ambitious, fast-growth tech start-ups and their founders over a number of years.

Alexander Coleridge, Co-founder and CEO of TapSimple, said: “TapSimple exists to help charities to adapt and thrive as we increasingly transition to a cashless society. We’re confident that working with The PHA Group will help us to get closer to achieving that and we’re pleased to enlist their support to raise awareness of TapSimple and are excited to see the results over the next few months.”

Ben Cossor, Head of Technology PR at The PHA Group, commented: “We’re really excited be working with TapSimple and the co-founders Alex and Tom. Their mission to facilitate charitable giving through new technologies is something we are proud to be delivering to the media, and we’re looking forward to playing our part in continuing to spread their message throughout the country.”
