A key focus will also be JA Europe’s upcoming Entrepreneurial Festival Gen-E 2021, taking place virtually in Lithuania between 29th June and 15th July, showcasing the achievements of thousands of young entrepreneurs, who will be competing for the titles of Best Company and Best Enterprise of the year.

Its network operates across 40 countries and last year, its programmes reached almost 4 million young people with the support of over 100,000 business volunteers and 140,000 teachers and educators.
Commenting on the appointment, Salvatore Nigro, CEO of JA Europe said:
“Even prior to the pandemic, youth unemployment in Europe was on the rise. With school closure, the disruption of education and student dropout, the unemployment situation is yet to worsen. We felt it was more important than ever to raise awareness of the work we do for young people, especially as we are set to organize Europe’s largest Entrepreneurship Festival, Gen-E. One meeting with Laura from PHA was enough to see the synergies between our teams. Their experience in bringing media attention to key issues in a strategic manner was a decisive factor in starting our journey together, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Laura Salvage, Senior Account Manager at The PHA Group, said:
“It’s no secret young people are facing more challenges than ever before. Through its impressive footprint and comprehensive educational programmes, JA Europe is doing amazing work to improve the prospects of young people as they prepare for work in a post-Covid world. We’re proud to now be part of their journey, and are really excited to further build our expertise in the business of education sector.”
