To further strengthen their production capabilities, Thinkingbox has announced that they have acquired Vancouver & Montreal -based, live-action production company, The Heist – creating a new division within the company – Thinkingbox Films.
Starting in 2010, The Heist has spent the last twelve years building its multidisciplinary team of creative filmmakers and creating content for some of the industry’s most sought-after brands – including Red Bull, lululemon, GMC, Cadillac, On Running, Jaybird, and American Express. The acquisition also brings several new members to Thinkingbox’s thriving employee roster, including several award-winning directors, editors, and producers.

The Heist addition follows Thinkingbox’s strategic growth plan via organic and acquisitions. Over the last two years, Thinkingbox has acquired WLS, Aarra, Antisocial, and Chen Productions. The company also has grown by 200% and revenue by over 300% in the same time period.
