Thompson & Co. Public Relations recognized nationally as a Top 100 agency

by | Oct 4, 2022

Thompson & Co. Public Relations, a woman-owned public relations agency based in Anchorage, was named to PRNEWS’ 2023 Agency Elite Top 100. Each year, PRNEWS recognizes 100 public relations and communications companies in the United States as the most innovative in their field of work. T&C shares the honor with global brands and powerhouses like FleishmanHillard, The Brand Agency and APCO Worldwide, among others.

“I’m proud to lead a diverse team dedicated to producing creative and quality work for our clients in Alaska and across the country,” said T&C President and CEO Jennifer Thompson. “Having our team’s hard work and commitment recognized on a national level is an incredible honor and one we will continue to live up to for our clients for years to come.”

During Thompson’s tenure at T&C, the agency has grown from five employees in 2008 to a team of more than 20 offering a slate of creative services. Those services include media relations, digital marketing, videography and photography, graphic design, crisis management and diversity, equity and inclusion communications strategies. Thompson and her team offer counsel and support for many of Alaska’s top companies in nearly every sector, including tourism, telecommunications, education, finance and health care.

Submissions reviewed by the PRNEWS editorial staff are evaluated based on services, products, employee initiatives and activities, and core agency offerings. T&C is an industry leader in Alaska and continues to produce award-winning campaigns.

“This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the backing of our clients,” said Thompson. “Their enthusiasm and support of our biggest and most ambitious ideas is a testament to our collective successes. As storytellers in a state as diverse as Alaska, we have an enormous responsibility to ensure our clients’ messaging is representative and inclusive. It’s embedded into our company culture and the work we produce. We believe that good PR starts at home.”

In a press release announcing this year’s winners, Associate Publisher at PR News Danielle Sikes said this, “The Agency Elite Top 100 is the only editorial roster of its kind, dedicated to the most innovative PR and communications firms in the business. Our annual list is an invaluable resource that helps newbies and seasoned vets alike get a sense of who they can trust their business based on any number of criteria.”
