The Dallas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America honored TrizCom Public Relations with a coveted 2018 Pegasus Award for Communications Excellence – media relations business to business. The award was presented Oct. 19 at the annual PRSA Dallas Pegasus Awards + Pro-Am Student Day Luncheon at the Brookstone Country Club in Farmers Branch.
Dallas public relations firm TrizCom PR received the 2018 Pegasus Award on behalf of the Dillon Gage Metals media relations campaign. TrizCom Account Supervisor Jeffery Cheatham received the Dallas Chapter of PRSA New Member of the Year Award.
The annual Pegasus Awards honor excellence while recognizing the best-in-category media outreach and public relations efforts in the North Texas area. Individual awards were allotted in six program categories and eight project categories. Campaigns were judged by an independent panel composed of public relations practitioners from the Dallas PRSA sister chapter in Puget Sound, Washington.
“We know that we do great work at TrizCom PR and our clients agree as well,” stated Jo Trizila, president and CEO of TrizCom Public Relations. “However, to have your peers say your work is the best of the best is quite an honor. As a midsize boutique agency, it’s amazing to see our work singled out among such competition. We are equally proud to have won this award on behalf of the firm’s longest tenure client, Dillon Gage Metals.”
Since 2014, TrizCom PR has been recognized by PRSA 10 times including four Pegasus Awards – Solis Mammography 2017, Heroes for Children 2017 and Jeff Gusky: The Hidden World of WWI 2015. In 2017, TrizCom PR was given the top honor, Best in Show on behalf of Heroes for Children.
