TURNER Appointed as AOR for Chile Tourism Board

by | Aug 22, 2019

TURNER, an industry leading integrated communications agency specializing in travel and lifestyle brands, announced a new partnership with Chile. TURNER will support public relations and travel trade efforts in North America on behalf of SERNATUR, the government body responsible for promoting Chile’s tourism offerings, increasing awareness and promoting tourism for the South American country.

An exciting and diverse destination, Chile is the longest and thinnest country in the world, running from the Andes to the Pacific Ocean and sharing borders with Argentina, Peru and Bolivia. Chile also has territories in Polynesia and Antarctica, making it a tri-continental nation. From the high Andean plateau to the untouched southern territories at the end of the world, Chile offers adventures spanning the world’s driest desert, the unique rainy temperate forest of South America, millennial glaciers waiting to be discovered and under the watchful eye of the Andes in the center of modern cities including its capital, Santiago.

“We’re excited to begin spreading the word about the magnificent country of Chile,” said Naureen Kazi, TURNER Vice President. “With its unique scenery, unforgettable experiences and dynamic culture, it’s a destination that will shine in the spotlight.”

Founded in 1997, TURNER represents the world’s best hotels, resorts and destinations with tenured teams in Miami, New York, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. TURNER offers a full-service menu of integrated communication services led by respected thought leaders who set the pace for the travel industry.

“Chile is a perfect addition to our growing roster of the world’s most desirable destinations,” said TURNER Chief Strategy Officer Angela Berardino. “We’ve carefully invested in building a bilingual team as we expand our Latin America partnerships, and we’re thrilled to work with Chile across a variety of platforms for both media and travel trade.”
