Three exceptional women-led nonprofit organizations will receive a combined total of half a million dollars in PR and marketing support for one year
NEW YORK — December 9, 2024 — UpSpring, a women-owned PR, digital marketing, and creative agency, announced today the winners of its first annual pro bono PR and marketing competition: the UpSpring Launch:HER Awards. Designed to empower women leaders in nonprofit organizations, the program awards a combined total of half a million dollars in PR and marketing services to support their missions.
“The winners of this year’s Launch:HER Awards exemplify the incredible potential of women leaders to drive meaningful change,” said Tiffany Rafii, CEO of UpSpring. “Through this program, we’re not only amplifying their voices, but also equipping them with tailored PR and marketing strategies to reach wider audiences, engage stakeholders, and build lasting momentum for their missions. By sharing their stories and highlighting their purpose, we aim to open doors to even greater opportunities for growth and impact.”
This year’s winners are:
- The Adventure Project – $250,000 in services for one year: The Adventure Project focuses on ending extreme poverty by creating jobs that empower communities to address urgent global issues, including clean water, healthcare, hunger, and climate challenges. The organization supports first-class local organizations that teach valuable job skills, fostering sustainable and scalable impact.
- Project Petals – $150,000 in services for one year: Project Petals advances environmental health and equity in under-resourced areas by connecting communities with vital resources, developing sustainable green spaces, and equipping youth with leadership skills to advocate for their neighborhoods.
