Video Ad Platform ViralGains Appoints New VP and New Directors

by | May 22, 2019

ViralGains, the industry’s only digital video advertising journey platform, announced significant expansion of its leadership team. Safe Lafnoune has been appointed Vice President of Product. Beth Laplante has joined the firm as Director of Customer Experience. Alex Reuter and Michael Lubavin have been promoted to Directors of Engineering. The expanded team will further fuel ViralGains’ growing market share in high-performance, results-driven video advertising.

Video advertising is a $30 billion market in the U.S. alone. ViralGains serves the world’s best marketers at 95 of the Fortune 500, six of the top 10 auto companies, three of the top five U.S. banks, all three of the top U.S. telecom companies, and some of the largest restaurant and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies in the world.

Lafnoune will lead the engineering and product teams to help drive the company’s growth as the leader in customer journey management software. Lafnoune joined ViralGains in 2014 and most recently served as Director of Product Management and Ad Operations.

Laplante brings more than a decade of experience in the ad tech space to her role as Director of Customer Experience at ViralGains. Previously, she was VP of Client Services at ownerIQ, where she transformed the organization to focus on client growth and retention. Before that, Laplante served as the Director of Program Management and Client Experience at Undertone, and worked for nine years in advertising technology at Yahoo.

Reuter and Lubavin have been promoted as Directors of Engineering. Both will be instrumental in managing the growing engineering teams and developing new offerings.

“ViralGains excels at creating authentic connections between brands and consumers that drive real business outcomes, and the growing strength of our management team allows us to rapidly scale our company,” said ViralGains CEO Tod Loofbourrow. “We are excited for Beth to join the ViralGains team, and to have Safaa, Alex and Michael take on leadership roles within the company. I look forward to working with each one of them more closely as we bring ever greater results to the world’s best brands.”
