W2O Group, a network of innovative analytics-driven, digital-first marketing and communications firms, announced the appointment of three senior executives in its growing Chicago office. Jeff Burnett has joined the company as Practice Leader, Health and Wellness; Donna Duncan has joined as Group Director, Healthcare; and Chuck Hemann has rejoined the firm as Managing Director, Analytics.

Managing Director Jessica Carlson has led the Chicago office expansion since 2015, which has resulted in an increase in staff to more than 20 professionals. Burnett, Duncan and Hemann join a diverse group of professionals focused on executing integrated marketing and communications programs for healthcare, technology and consumer clients—all informed and measured by the firm’s leading analytics and insights.
The new Chicago office, which is being built to accommodate current and future growth of the team, is located in the booming Fulton Market District in the West Loop.
Burnett, an industry veteran, has more than 20 years of experience providing communications support to healthcare and consumer packaged goods companies for prescription and OTC drugs and consumer brands. Prior to joining W2O, he was Executive Vice President at Edelman. Burnett will build out the firm’s offering in the health and wellness category for existing clients and new business prospects.
Duncan has nearly 20 years of healthcare communications experience. Previously, she was a Senior Vice President at Edelman, where she worked with health and wellness clients across several areas, including associations, pharmaceuticals, hospitals and consumer packaged goods. Duncan will lead W2O Group’s integrated teams in delivering strategy-first campaigns that optimize the appropriate mix of earned and paid media, influencers, partnerships and events.
Hemann rejoins W2O from Intel, where he was Director of Digital Analytics, managing paid media, web, search and social analytics programs globally. He will lead W2O’s paid media and digital analytics offering. Over the last 14 years, Hemann has provided strategic counsel to clients on a variety of topics including social media, online reputation and crisis communications. He is also an author and frequent lecturer on digital communications and analytics globally.
