Warschawski Expands Team with Addition of Sam McGee as Director

Sam brings deep public relations and issue advocacy expertise across diverse set of sectors

BALTIMORE – November 29, 2023Warschawski, a fully integrated advertising, digital, PR, branding and marketing communications agency, today announced the addition of Sam McGee to its growing team. Sam joins the agency as a director and will oversee strategy and work with the team to create integrated marketing campaigns that include branding, PR, social media, design, and digital marketing for the agency’s clients.

Prior to joining Warschawski, Sam was a director at Subject Matter, a full-service creative advocacy agency based in Washington, D.C., where she helped launch the Strategic Communications practice in 2018. At Subject Matter, Sam led media, messaging and thought leadership strategy for a range of nonprofits, trade associations, startups and Fortune 500 companies across the technology, higher education, public health and healthcare, and sustainability sectors. Notably, Sam headed the Semiconductor Industry Association’s multi-year public affairs campaign to help strengthen the domestic semiconductor industry, driving $52.7B in federal funding and earning PR Week’s 2023 “Best in Public Affairs” recognition.

Sam is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. She also won an NCAA Division I National Championship as a member of the university’s varsity lacrosse team. Outside of the office, Sam coaches youth lacrosse and enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
