(W)right On Communications Adds Patricia Maxwell and Aleaha Kopec as Senior Communications Strategists

(W)right On Communications strengthens its team with the addition of Patricia Maxwell and Aleaha Kopec as Senior Communications Strategists with Maxwell serving client partners in the agency’s B2B and technology group and Kopec in its consumer and lifestyle.

Maxwell draws upon her more than 15 years of extensive experience in the technology, science, conservation, and higher education industries. She brings both marketing and strategic communications expertise to her role and leads programs for (W)right On’s client partners in the cleantech, energy, technology and professional services space.

Maxwell’s previous positions include leading her own PR and marketing consultancy, director of marketing and communication technology for the Catalina Island Conservancy and director of marketing and PR for Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens in San Clemente. She spent several years in Lincoln, Neb. as well where Maxwell was a communications director for a nonprofit providing services to the blind and taught communication and marketing at a private college. Maxwell has a doctorate in media psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara and an MBA from Loma Linda University. She also serves as a director on the San Diego chapter board of the Public Relations Society of America.

With over a decade of strategic communications experience, Kopec focuses on leading lifestyle client-partner relationships including the agency’s hospitality, tourism, senior living and wellness practice areas. She has represented highly coveted consumer food and wellness brands and has experience in the QSR space, healthcare and hospitality on the local and national scale. Kopec is a heavy media relations hitter and is no stranger to pivoting a pitch angle or brainstorming an out-of-the-box idea to garner a top-tier placement.

Kopec’s past roles include key positions with several San Diego public relations agencies supporting a variety of consumer, lifestyle and hospitality clients. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
