Zapwater Communications, an award-winning integrated communications agency, has announced the promotion of 10 current employees including several senior level promotions. The promotions took place in both the agency’s Chicago and Los Angeles offices.

Brigid Parr has been promoted to Vice President in the Chicago office. Parr began her career at Zapwater’s Chicago office as an intern more than eight years ago. Due to her strategic thinking, diligence and leadership abilities, she has earned titles including Account Director, Group Director and now Vice President. She leads some of the agency’s largest consumer and lifestyle accounts, and has a strong hand in internal management. Brigid additionally serves on the Publicity Club of Chicago’s Board of Directors and is a co-chair of the communications committee.

Erika von Borcke has been promoted to Group Director in the Chicago Office. Von Borcke joined the Zapwater Chicago team in July 2018 as an Account Director and has since been promoted to Group Director. Prior to Zapwater, Erika worked at Weber Shandwick for over four years, most recently serving as a Director. Having focused on notable beauty, food and retail clients, Erika brought her professionalism and understanding of largescale accounts to her role at Zapwater, assisting in the agency’s growth and new business development over the past year.

Stephanie Reay has been promoted to Group Director in the Chicago Office. Reay started at Zapwater’s Chicago office as an intern, working her way up within the agency over the past eight years. With a strong knowledge in the hospitality space, Stephanie manages some of Zapwater’s most prominent restaurant and hotel accounts. Stephanie’s hard work, team mentality and strong management skills have attributed to her development at Zapwater and promotion from Account Director to Group Director.
