Zapwater Communications Named U.S. Public Relations of Record for Visit Maldives

Zapwater Communications announced that it has been named the public relations agency of record in the United States for Visit Maldives, the tourism authority of Republic of Maldives, adding to the agency’s already prestigious roster of travel and destination clients. Zapwater has extensive experience in the Maldives having previously worked with the Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and its numerous resorts.

Located on top of a vast underwater mountain range in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives is comprised of 26 atolls spanning 1,190 different islands. The destination’s unique geography and topography is unmatched. The Maldives is known for offering a diverse range of options for travelers, ranging from romantic getaways to thrilling adventure experiences, wellness-focused trips and beyond. Visit Maldives offers a collection of award-winning hotels and resorts, signature spa treatments, water sports, natural beauty, gourmet dining, entertainment options and much more.

Additionally, the tropical destination allows travelers to island hop from one beautiful location to the next. Visitors can also tour the capital of the Maldives, Malé City, to explore the restaurants, bars and tourist attractions on the island. Malé is also home to the country’s governing body, which has recently undergone noteworthy changes including a new democratically elected government.
