Zapwater Communications announced that it has been retained by Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, the first Sofitel flagged property in Mexico. Located on Paseo de la Reforma, one of the most iconic avenues worldwide, Sofitel Mexico City Reforma is the first luxury hotel to open in Mexico City in over a decade.

Sofitel Mexico City Reforma is at the intersection where French style and Mexican culture meet. The recently opened hotel features state-of-the-art design elements, five distinct restaurant and bar options, ample meeting and event space, striking views of Mexico City and forward-thinking wellness amenities including the Sofitel Spa with L’Occitane and the prized 38th floor pool. Located in Mexico City’s Reforma neighborhood just steps away from the business district, iconic monuments and art, Sofitel Mexico City Reforma is the ideal place for both business and leisure travel.

“I’m excited to leverage Zapwater’s extensive experience in Mexico on behalf of Sofitel Mexico City Reforma,” says David Zapata, CEO and founder of Zapwater. “As a newly opened hotel in one of the hottest cities in the world, the opportunities are endless, and our team is eager to get started.”

Zapwater’s scope of work includes media relations, thought leadership, influencer marketing, strategic partnerships and event support in the US and Canadian markets for Sofitel Mexico City Reforma.
