Worldcom PR Group, a global partnership of independent communications consultancies, recently released its communications predictions for 2018.
The predictions draw on contributions from teams in over 115 cities. As a result, the issues identified are both global and local, and should be helpful for international organizations as they make their plans for 2018.
The document forecasts how geopolitical uncertainty, the breakdown in trust in traditional media and other hot topics will bring communications challenges to organizations.
“The seeds sown in 2017 will bring significant challenges and opportunities in 2018,” said Patrik Schober, chairman of Worldcom, in a news release. “We hope our predictions and recommendations will help organizations all over the world address the challenges they face more effectively so that they achieve their business goals with greater certainty.”
Worldcom also released its Top 10 Communications Recommendations for 2018 as a companion document. This advice is designed to help organizations deliver outstanding communications results next year. It includes carrying out Risk and GDPR assessments and recommendations for Employee Engagement, Culture and Innovation.
