MediaMiser launches new version of its industry-leading media content management and analytics software

Ottawa – MediaMiser Ltd, Canada’s leading provider of media analysis and public relations measurement solutions, today launched Enterprise Version 2.0, the next generation of MediaMiser’s industry-leading media content management and analytics software.

Enterprise Version 2.0 includes innovative new features like prominence impact measurement, in-depth competitive analysis, media trend analysis, issues management enhancements, and a refreshed user interface with intuitive and advanced search and navigation capabilities.

Many of the new features in Enterprise Version 2.0 were developed based on the expressed needs of clients, as well as internal research and consultation with industry. Key new features include:

Prominence Analysis: which ranks individual articles or blog postings based on multiple parameters including source, article placement, story length in words and time, publication reach, inclusion of quotes, and appearance of photos. Each article is assigned a prominence rating, providing a true measure of the impact of each story, and helping identify emerging media trends issues; and

Media Trend Analysis: which provides insight into the origin and progress of any issue across various media types, allowing users to see where and when an issue first appeared and track its movement in the media. By spotting issues in their early stages, at the blog level for example, media strategists can create effective counter measures and appropriate messaging to diffuse the issue before it reaches other media platforms.
