Allison+Partners Elevates Tom Smith to President, Corporate, North America

Allison+Partners announced the promotion of Tom Smith to president, Corporate, North America. This newly created position reflects Smith’s ongoing contribution to the expansion of the agency’s corporate practice, which has grown by more than 150 percent since Tom joined the agency in 2014. He reports to Matthew Della Croce, global president of Europe + corporate.

“Over the last five years, Tom has worked tirelessly to live Allison+Partners’ core values and represent our culture,” said Della Croce. “In light of his efforts, the corporate practice has grown exponentially, demonstrating how invaluable his diverse professional experience is to the evolution of our offering and the services we provide.”

During his tenure, Smith has been an instrumental leader for numerous global accounts, helping drive critical corporate communications programs for innovative and disruptive companies across the B2B technology, professional services, financial services and healthcare industries including current clients RELX Group and WellSky. In 2018, he was named a partner in the firm and was appointed to its North American Management Board, which oversees the growth and operations of Allison+Partners’ clients in the region.

Prior to joining Allison+Partners, Smith spent more than a decade at Ogilvy PR as an executive vice president in the agency’s New York corporate practice. He also served as a vice president in the corporate communications group at Fleishman Hillard, and held earlier roles at GCI Group and Makovsky + Company. Smith has been a guest speaker at the National Investor Relations Institute NIRI) Annual Conference, New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and Marquette University.
