Blattel Communications Launches Marketing Services Division with Addition of Lydia Bednerik Neal as VP

by | Jan 30, 2020

Blattel Communications, a marketing communications agency focused on professional services firms, announced the addition of Lydia Bednerik Neal, a senior consultant with more than 25 years of experience, as Vice President – Marketing Services. She joins recently added Marketing Services Director Marcia Delgadillo to anchor the agency’s newly launched Marketing Services Division.

“For nearly 30 years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with our clients, functioning seamlessly as a part of their internal teams. These relationships, combined with our active roles in the LMA (Legal Marketing Association), SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) and other professional organizations, give us unparalleled insight into the shifting dynamics in professional services delivery,” said Blattel Communications President Traci Stuart. “Our Marketing Services Division complements our award-winning public relations offerings, unlocking incredible potential for smaller firms aiming to leverage sophisticated tools for growth.”

Blattel Communications’ Marketing Services Division is designed to serve as a partner to small- and mid-size firms, including those in law, accounting, real estate, architecture and construction, as well as professional associations and nonprofits. The team provides industry expertise to help overcome marketing limitations and implement strategic initiatives aimed at establishing, evolving or expanding a firm’s reputation. Its focus is on helping firms and the professionals within them make optimal use of their resources, whether for a limited project or an ongoing engagement as the outsourced marketing department.

The Marketing Services Division offers business development and marketing strategy, planning and project management in areas including market audits and brand positioning; website design, development and revamp; collateral materials and advertising consultation and development; social media and digital strategy; assistance covering department vacancies; conference and event strategy and support; as well as individual and group business development coaching.

Bednerik Neal joins Blattel Communications following more than 17 years as the marketing director for a mid-sized, California-based law firm. Active with the LMA at both the international and local levels, Bednerik Neal served as a board member for each and long-time governance chair of the latter, among other positions. Locally, she is a past president of the LMA – Bay Area Chapter. This is a “homecoming” of sorts for Bednerik Neal, who worked in account management at Blattel Communications in the early 2000s. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Delgadillo was most recently Director of Member Relations and Development for the California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP). She is also a long-time, active member of the LMA, former Chapter Board member and current local committee member. In addition to her time with CMCP, her professional services experience includes stints at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP (now part of Squire Patton Boggs), JAMS and as part of the professional support staff at an accounting firm. Delgadillo is a graduate of San Francisco State University, College of Business.

“Together, Lydia and Marcia have more than five decades of marketing experience. Professional services firms with more limited or junior marketing resources can truly tap into this wealth of experience and added executional power to set strategy and chart the course for implementation – and, where there is no marketing guidance, the team can serve as an outsourced resource with the insight, vision and drive to help our clients thrive,” added Stuart.
