Fort Lauderdale-based BoardroomPR announced that Executive Vice President Todd Templin has been elevated to an equity partner. He will retain his title, but now be part of the PR agency’s ownership group.
“Todd is a very valuable member of our team and a consummate professional,” said Julie Talenfeld, President/CEO. “He has not only proven himself as a leader in our firm and in the community, but he is also a great friend. I, along with the company’s other shareholder, Donald Silver, are now proud and excited to have him as a business partner.”
“When I left television journalism to pursue a new career in business communications with Boardroom, I didn’t know what to expect,” said Templin. “Now 19 years later, I’d say things worked out pretty darn well. I want to thank both Julie and Don for this amazing opportunity to become a partner. We have a great company with a great team of professionals and clients which makes it easy to come to work every day.”
Templin joined BoardroomPR in 2000 after a 17-year television news career which included roles at WPLG-TV in Miami, ABC News and television stations in Detroit, Michigan and Sarasota, Florida. In his role at the agency, he is responsible for client management, new business development and talent acquisition. He also co-leads the agency’s Crisis Management Division.
In addition to his formal roles, Templin enjoys mentoring and developing young publicists.
