Brand-News-Team, Inc., a full-service digital public relations and content creation firm, has landed awards for outstanding aerial video and still photography from the New York State Fair Drone Film Festival.
Brand-News-Team President Roger Rosenbaum and other winners will receive honors at an event held at the state fairgrounds in Syracuse on August 26th. “Competition was very tough from worldwide entries. I am very proud of these awards,” said Rosenbaum, who is also the company’s chief remote pilot in charge.
The third-place winning aerial news video entry entitled Powerful Drone Footage was shot in Rhinebeck, New York after the region was slammed with two back-to-back snowstorms. The footage captured multiple utility trucks responding to homes without power in the region. “Many people felt the restoration process had stalled. I used the aerial drone footage to show news outlets and social media that crews had hit the road,” said Rosenbaum.
Brand-News-Team provided still images and video to local news outlets such as Mid- HudsonNews.com. “There were a number of smooth cinematic pans and zooms in one single drone shot. The aerial view was a unique view of the scene,” said Rosenbaum.
The second bronze award given to Brand-News-Team was for an aerial photograph entitled the Moon Over the Mario. The image captured the construction of the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge over the Hudson River. “The drone allowed to position the camera to capture the vibrant image several weeks before opening up for traffic,” said Rosenbaum.
Brand-News-Team flies FAA-compliant commercial drone missions for a wide-variety of clients. “We have over 40 airspace authorizations to fly sections of controlled airspace throughout the Northeast. We have a federal waiver to fly at night in some locations.”
The visual branding and storytelling company works with as many as 10 FAA-certified drone pilots. Rosenbaum has been asked to speak at the I LOVE NY tourism conference, a PRSA conference and a video meet up at Vimeo headquarters in NYC.
