by | Jun 6, 2019

Buffalo Groupe, LLC announced the acquisition of Rawle Murdy, a leading full-service integrated communications firm, as the newest division of the company. In February 2019, Buffalo Groupe began with one division, Buffalo Agency, which was a spin-off from parent company Billy Casper Golf. Rawle Murdy expands Buffalo Groupe’s holdings to two divisions furthering its vision to build the world’s first marketing platform to connect brands with lifestyle audiences through the lens of golf.

“We formed Buffalo Groupe with a very clear growth strategy and couldn’t be more pleased to announce our second division within our first quarter,” said John Watson, Executive Chairman, Buffalo Groupe. “Rawle Murdy is not only an industry-leading firm but also complements Buffalo Agency and together they are the foundation of our marketing platform.”

“Over the past four decades, Rawle Murdy has made significant contributions to the local and regional marketplace,” said Bruce Murdy, President of Rawle Murdy. “Buffalo Groupe is a partner who will allow us to continue our vision, complementing our strengths and adding a depth of resources and expertise in real estate and hospitality and tourism marketing, as we continue to expand our strengths in government relations and home services verticals as well.”

“For many years, I have admired Rawle Murdy’s stellar client list and reputation for high-quality service,” said Kyle Ragsdale, CEO, Buffalo Groupe. “I am excited about the future as our like-minded cultures and passion for what we do elevates both agencies to a level that we could not have achieved individually.”

As a division of Buffalo Groupe, Rawle Murdy will operate as an independent agency with Bruce Murdy continuing to lead as managing director based in Charleston, South Carolina.
