Cooksey Communications recently received two Platinum Awards, two Gold Awards and three honorable mentions in the 2021 dotCOMM Awards, an international competition. This program is unique in that it spotlights the critical role of creative professionals in continually evolving web, social media and digital platforms.
The seven award wins highlight Cooksey’s diverse and robust experience in using digital public relations and content marketing tools. Cooksey’s Platinum and Gold-level recognitions in this awards competition were as follows:

The article discussed The Offices Three at Frisco Station, the third office addition to the 242-acre mixed-use development, Frisco Station, and the strength of the Dallas real estate market.
- Blog Placement (Earned Media) – The Rainier Companies: Cooksey provided insight for Rainier President and CEO Danny Lovell’s blog post, “Suburban Flight: How COVID-19 Altered the Retail Landscape,” in D CEO Magazine’s online commercial real estate expert opinion section. The article addressed how the pandemic caused a shift in consumer demand to high-quality retail centers in the suburbs.
- Article or News Placement (Earned Media) – Irving Economic Development Partnership (IEDP): Cooksey secured a bylined, print article in Texas Town & City, “How Planning and Collaboration Established Irving as the Headquarters of Headquarters,” written by Chris Hillman, Irving city manager, and Beth Bowman, president and CEO of IEDP and the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.
