Award-winning, bi-coastal public relations and marketing firm Crowe PR announced this week it has landed a spot on San Diego Business Journal’s 2020 Best Places to Work list. As the only public relations agency to be recognized, the award reflects Crowe PR’s commitment to hiring and retaining top talent and fostering a positive, team-focused company culture. On the heels of this recognition, Crowe PR also announced several key personnel moves within their media and account services teams.
Made possible by one-hundred percent employee participation, San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work award recognizes businesses that excel in a variety of categories, including workplace culture, benefits, human resources and more. The publication identified 100 small, medium and large-sized local businesses to receive this honor. This is Crowe PR’s first time on the list.
Known for their ROI-focused approach and strong base of hospitality, consumer, tech and professional services clients, Crowe PR is driven by a set core values, including positivity, transparency, authenticity, continuous improvement and a culture of excellence. With a focus on team development and growth, the agency offers ongoing leadership training and various educational opportunities to employees. It also prioritizes employees’ health and well-being, offering a workplace wellness program, quarterly retreats, flexible work schedules and a variety of team gatherings.
“We are honored to have been selected as one of San Diego’s best workplaces,” said Anna Crowe, Founder and CEO of Crowe PR. “Our people and company culture are crucial to the overall success and the success of our clients. It feels great to be recognized for our efforts in creating a positive, healthy work environment where our amazing employees are encouraged to grow and develop.”
Crowe PR is also expanding several departments within the agency this month. The company announced the promotion of Sarah Kinsella to Media Director. In her new role, Kinsella will be responsible for overseeing all facets of Crowe PR’s dedicated media department, including media strategy, planning and outreach across all account teams. Kinsella has been with Crowe PR since 2016 and most recently served as a Media Strategist.
In addition, Crowe PR has added two new team members to support the agency’s continuously expanding hospitality and consumer goods groups. Chelsea Hellems has joined the firm as a Senior Account Manager, and Laurel Tiedeman joined Crowe PR as an Account Coordinator. Both Hellems and Tiedeman will report to Group Manager Kaitlin Egan and will assist on local and national accounts, such as Saffron & Sage holistic health club, U.SK Under Skin, The Curtis Hotel, McLemore Golf Club and Fit Athletic Club.
“Our culture is built on positive attitudes, collaboration, and exceptional performance standards,” says Crowe. “We are committed to elevating PR and marketing industry standards, while delivering best-in-class client service and hiring – and promoting – the best people.”
