Danielle Benghiat is the newest communications specialist at Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management – The Strategic Firm® – where she offers experience in social media management, media relations and marketing communications to clients in higher education, technology and tourism.
Benghiat, who most recently interned at Curley & Pynn, continues the firm’s tradition of hiring former graduates from its internship program into full-time roles. Previously, she interned for Evok Advertising, Wellons Communications, Seminole County Public Schools and for a campaign led by the University of Central Florida (UCF) and United Way.
The UCF graduate earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations with minors in writing and rhetoric, as well as mass culture and collective behavior. As a student, Benghiat was an ambassador for the UCF Department of Writing and Rhetoric, and an active member of both PR club at UCF, and the UCF Ad Club. Today, she is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association Orlando Area Chapter and Ad2Orlando.
In addition, Sarah Kelliher was promoted to associate communications strategist, and she now leads the planning and implementation of strategic public relations programs for clients in the economic development, financial services and energy sectors.
Kelliher joined Curley & Pynn in 2019 as a communications specialist and has quickly become an essential member of the team. A natural leader, Kelliher leverages her experience in marketing, journalism, public relations, social media and photography to enhance strategic approaches that impact the bottom line.
Prior to joining Curley & Pynn, she interned for Limbitless Solutions, where she drove the nonprofit’s digital storytelling through blog posts, news releases and social media campaigns. There, she earned the opportunity to speak alongside Limbitless President Albert Manero on a panel at the United Nations about the intersection of gender and disability at the Annual Ideagen 2030 Empowering Women and Girls Summit. She has also served as a contributor for several media outlets, including Knight Sports Now, and remains an active contributor for CheeseheadTV, a news source for Green Bay Packer fans.
A member of the Florida Public Relations (FPRA) Orlando Area Chapter, Kelliher is actively involved in its Student Outreach Committee and was selected for LeadershipFPRA, the association’s annual leadership development program. Kelliher graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in journalism studies, and remains a dedicated member of the UCF community.
