Nashville-based agency MP&F announces the hiring of Vince Skyers as the agency’s first ever executive creative director. Skyers joins with more than 20 years of experience in design and branding for companies like Sony and Condé Nast’s suite of properties like Allure, Brides Magazine and Details Magazine.
Prior to joining MP&F, Skyers held the role of creative director for SmileDirectClub, where he worked for five and a half years. There he led the creative packaging and on-shelf merchandising for SmileDirectClub’s oral care line, capturing 20.4% of the whitening category within Walmart in its first year. He spearheaded the transformation of the brand’s identity through international launches and contributed efficiencies in the in-house agency model. During his tenure, Skyers was selected as a judge for the 2022 Effie Worldwide competition and his creative work won many awards, including a German Design Award and a Shop Association OMA Gold.
“What attracted me to MP&F was the agency’s distinguished legacy, its forward-looking initiatives, and the support for the agency’s culture and people,” Skyers said.
Skyers also served as creative director for Simplify Compliance, a SaaS brand focused on the mission of improving business effectiveness through education. His work over nearly 13 years led the brand, talent and creative direction for various business units under the Simplify Compliance name.
Skyers founded his own full-service creative agency, UmbraSolutions, which operated from 2008-2020. Through this venture, he provided creative engagement solutions for organizations like Condé Nast, Sony Music, Brides Magazine and more.
In his first 90 days, Skyers plans to nurture creative teams through a collective he launched dubbed the Creative Council – a first for the agency. The council, composed of senior creative leadership, sets out to collaborate on topics of creative innovation, process efficiencies, conceptual design and more.

Skyers holds undergrad degrees in art and advertising design, business management, and a Master of Arts degree in creative leadership. He is a Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. member and the Communications Strategy director for the Knights of Prince Hall Youth Mentorship program.
