French/West/Vaughan adds Raleigh-based private equity firm Sherpa Collaborative to client roster

by | Feb 17, 2021

French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s 20 largest independently-held public relations and integrated marketing agencies, has been selected by Sherpa Collaborative to handle public relations efforts for the organization and multiple associated brands.

Sherpa Collaborative, a private equity firm, helps launch and grow businesses through effective collaboration across investment, acquisition, incubation and consulting. Sherpa’s founders are very involved in their brands, acting similarly to a C-Suite team of executives. The firm is currently serving a wide portfolio, including hammock brand Lawson Hammock and the newly launched Andador woven belt collection.

“Sherpa Collaborative was founded to help entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level and ultimately build successful brands, something FWV has been doing on behalf of clients for more than two decades,” said FWV’s President and Principal David Gwyn. “We are looking forward to working with Sherpa to raise awareness of its unique ventures and position the businesses as leaders across multiple target audiences.”

FWV has already begun work on behalf of Sherpa Collaborative, Lawson Hammock and Andador, with an initial focus on increasing awareness and driving sales for both consumer-facing brands through a national media relations campaign.

“We have worked with the team at FWV in different capacities over the years, so we know firsthand about their impressive depth of experience across industries that align with our portfolio,” said Pete Pagano, Founding Partner of Sherpa Collaborative. “We are excited to partner with FWV to elevate all our brands to the next level.”
