French / West / Vaughan Announces Promotions and New Hires

French/West/Vaughan (FWV), the nation’s 15th largest independently held public relations and integrated marketing agency, announced two promotions and six new hires across account service, creative services and paid media in support of the agency’s continued growth.

Morgan Lang has been promoted to Group Account Director. With proven experience in leading successful integrated campaigns for B2B and B2C clients, Lang’s primary responsibilities include account management and strategic direction, campaign development and overseeing execution, as well as maintaining client relationships. She joined FWV in 2019 following six years with Sweeney Marketing + Public Relations. Lang graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with dual bachelor’s degrees in communication studies and French.

FWV has promoted Emily Brice to Account Supervisor after a successful year of supporting and growing key healthcare, health tech and B2B clients. Previously an Associate focused on healthcare with Weber Shandwick, Brice started at FWV in 2020. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in public relations.

Tony Lockhart joins FWV as an Associate Art Director from the in-house creative team at Advance Auto Parts. He previously served as an Art Director at Burkhead Brand Group and has over 10 years of experience in the advertising industry, working alongside brands such as Ford, ABSOLUT Vodka, Home Depot, American Red Cross and Dunkin Donuts. Lockhart is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a bachelor’s degree in visual communications and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing.

Coming to FWV as a Paid Media Manager, Sarah Butts will support the planning, strategy and buying for numerous agency accounts. Previously with Gelia, she brings over six years of paid media experience to the team working within the higher education, financial services, travel & tourism, healthcare and auto aftermarket verticals. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

FWV welcomes Kaitlyn DeSimone as a Senior Account Executive. She will provide strategic support for public relations and media relations initiatives for numerous clients. Prior to joining FWV, DeSimone worked for Blast PR leading public relations efforts for advertising tech and B2B companies. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Business Administration, a certificate in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising.

Susie Clark comes to FWV as a Senior Account Executive from Walk West, where she led a variety of integrated marketing campaigns. Receiving her bachelor’s degree in advertising with a minor in retailing from the University of South Carolina, Clark will support multiple integrated agency accounts.

Joining as an Assistant Account Executive, Madeline Hiller will support FWV’s corporate communications accounts. She delivers experience from the Brian Hamilton Foundation and the public affairs office at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. Hiller earned a bachelor’s degree in both public relations and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sarah Grace Johnson joins FWV as a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator. In addition to internship experience at Raleigh Magazine, she previously interned at FWV. Johnson graduated from NC State University with a degree in communications and public relations.
