GCI Health announced the addition of three strategic new hires to its senior team: Tyler Pennock, an integrated marketing strategist, as senior vice president of Digital & Integrated Marketing; Kalyn Fesemyer, an expert in marketing to women, as senior vice president; and Judi Kennedy, an advocacy, CSR and brand communications specialist, as senior vice president.

This group of hires comes as GCI Health seeks to expand its integrated marketing capabilities and add expertise in women’s health.

Tyler Pennock joins GCI Health from Zeno Group, bringing 20 years of experience in creating digital initiatives that help patients and healthcare providers make smarter decisions about the management of complex health challenges. He will focus on expanding the agency’s integrated marketing capabilities and helping clients engage consumers and professionals across multiple touchpoints to drive their brand, business and organizational objectives. As a senior vice president of Digital Health at Edelman and Zeno Group, Tyler has experience supporting digital and experiential marketing initiatives in respiratory, oncology, eye health and consumer health, among other categories.

Kalyn Fesemyer brings a wealth of experience in marketing to women and strong consumer and brand communications expertise across a broad range of accounts in the health and wellness space. In her previous role as senior vice president at Edelman, Kalyn spent 13 years building creative, award-winning and data-driven campaigns for consumer and healthcare clients that included Kimberly-Clark, Principal, Pfizer and the American Heart Association.

Judi Kennedy has 20 years of expertise in guiding advocacy, branding, cause awareness and social media programs in healthcare and corporate communications, as well as developing strategies to support integrated marketing efforts across a variety of industries and product launch platforms. In her previous role as a consultant, she provided strategic communication services to Fortune 500 companies, launched biotechnology companies and supported Washington, D.C.-based advocacy and healthcare startups. Judi recently managed accounts that included PhRMA and the Johnson & Johnson portfolio of business, among others.

“At GCI Health, our mission is to hire the most talented healthcare communicators in the industry and surround them with senior, hands-on support,” said Kristin Cahill, president, GCI Health North America. “The addition of senior leaders like Tyler, Kalyn and Judi allows us to deliver on our relentless commitment to client service while adding extensive expertise to our bench in key areas of focus like integrated marketing and women’s health.”
