Under Pantano’s leadership, the West Coast operations has solidified a center of excellence for technology and influencer solutions
LOS ANGELES (May 22, 2025) – Golin, an Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency, announced today the promotion of Hollie Pantano to Managing Director, West Coast. She took leadership over the region last July as Associate Managing Director, West Coast, and her latest ascension comes on the heels of notable growth and expanded expertise in technology and influencer strategy. In her elevated role, she will continue to oversee Golin’s West Coast operations, leading offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and she will report to Dawn Langeland, co-president, North America.

Golin’s western region is home to some of the agency’s top specialist talent in technology communications and influencer engagement, both of which experienced notable growth last year. Under Pantano’s leadership, the agency expanded its remits with clients ASICs and Sanrio while also welcoming new brands to its portfolio, including Actian, Mizzen + Main and Sharper Image.
“Hollie is a proven client service expert and a respected and tenured leader whose rapid elevation is a testament to the remarkable results she has delivered,” said Langeland. “Teams and clients alike trust her counsel, and her strategic vision has seen significant impact in just a short time. She has a deep understanding of the risks and rewards that come with the ever-changing social media environment and is a desired counselor for innovation and growth – for both our client business and our own.”
Pantano also helped reshape the agency’s global tech capabilities – in partnership with John Derryberry, who joined Golin last September as West Coast technology practice lead. Together, they have enabled a framework of data-driven planning, live optimization and outcome-based evaluation, enhancing its B2B and enterprise expertise.
“I’m honored to take on this expanded role and continue building on the momentum we’ve created this past year,” said Pantano. “The West Coast offers incredible opportunities for brands to forge innovation in their sectors, and our talented LA and San Francisco teams bring extraordinary creativity and strategic thinking to help clients create change. I’m thrilled to lead this talented group as we enhance our services and grow in this essential market.”
Prior to relocating to southern California, Pantano spent eight years with Golin New York, where she was instrumental in building the agency’s New York offering. She grew the consumer team by more than 400%, including welcoming brands Ferrero, Hard Rock International, JetBlue and L’Oreal Paris to the agency’s roster.
