Costa Mesa, Calif.-based IMW Agency has kicked the New Year off strong, welcoming two new clients, a new team member, and several marketing awards.

IMW is working with the OC Fair & Events Center (OCFEC) on a brand assessment project, which includes a review of multiple brands and venues on the property where over 100 events are hosted each year in addition to the annual OC Fair. IMW is meeting with multiple internal and external groups to understand current views and perceptions about the OCFEC’s family of brands. Based on the findings, IMW will recommend potential changes including updated positioning and creative design. IMW is also working with CarMDto launch its PRO SCAN diagnostic tool to the automotive aftermarket.

To help support the expanded business, Cristina Palas has joined the team as Account Supervisor. Palas brings over 10 years of advertising and media buying experience to the CarMD account, as well as to other IMW clients in the automotive and restaurant industries.

Lastly, IMW has received three awards from the National Agri-Marketing Association, Western Pacific Region. IMW was honored for best Social Media Campaign for The Flower Fields. The agency also received First Place as well as Best of Show in the Events category for the Avocados From Mexico “Eat Lively Tour.” Both The Flower Fields and Avocados From Mexico are long-standing clients of IMW. The campaigns will now advance to the national NAMA awards competition.
