INK & ROSES, a full-service marketing communications firm specializing in beauty and grooming, consumer health and wellness, parenting, lifestyle and corporate communications, has announced the addition of Janine McCargo as Vice President, Healthcare. Separately, the Company also announced the addition of Richard Gallo as Account Executive, Beauty.
As market drivers accelerate the consumerization of healthcare, McCargo will be responsible for strategic development and execution on the agency’s healthcare accounts. Her role will include translating complex concepts into the powerful 360-degree marketing programs that INK & ROSES is known for. Gallo is responsible for working with beauty media and influencers, executing brand events, partnerships and activations and daily account management on the agency’s haircare, skincare, bath and body, and fragrance accounts.
For nearly two decades, McCargo has provided strategic counsel and tactical execution for biopharma, medtech, health IT, and healthcare services companies at various boutique agencies specializing in corporate, financial, and product communications. Working with companies ranging in size from pre-commercial start-ups to large multinational entities, she has been responsible for developing goal-oriented strategic PR campaigns to support capital markets, clinical trial, and market expansion goals.
Prior to joining INK & ROSES, Gallo worked with beauty brands ranging from mass to prestige with a focus on storytelling that generates connection, authenticity, participation, and engagement. He has developed and been responsible for PR strategies and cause marketing campaigns for nail care, skincare, color cosmetics, haircare, tools, and fragrance brands to generate coverage. Gallo has also been a part of the planning and execution for book launches in addition to NYC health club & spa and hair salon openings.
