by | Aug 16, 2018

JPA Health Communications, an agency specializing in the health sector, announced that Stephen Piotrowski joins its leadership team as Managing Director of the firm’s Boston office. Piotrowski brings more than 25 years of industry experience with a prowess for specialty healthcare marketing and communications.

Piotrowski’s tenure in strategic marketing, coupled with his extensive experience across an array of therapeutic areas, make him the ideal candidate to lead the Boston office. JPA was founded in Washington, D.C. in 2008 and has had an office in Greater Boston for the last eight years focused on the booming biotech cluster. The firm was recently nominated for its second 2017 PR Agency of the Year award.

“JPA continues to grow and expand the services we offer our clients,” said Carrie Jones, principal of JPA. “Steve’s leadership and entrepreneurial spirit will be an asset not only to our clients, but to the agency as we continue to enhance our marketing capabilities and grow our talented team.”

Prior to joining JPA, Piotrowski served as the executive vice president and managing director of H4B Boston, a division of the Havas Health & You Network. In this role, he opened and managed the office through five consecutive years of growth. Piotrowski has managed several U.S. and global product launches, including Bayer’s Eylea and Pfizer’s Torisel and Prevenar 13. Throughout his career, Steve managed numerous in-line brands, and device and diagnostic brands, ranging from surgical, orthopedics and renal to diagnostics.

“I am delighted to join JPA during this exciting time in health communications,” said Piotrowski. “I look forward to partnering with the firm’s leadership to build an integrated team focused on delivering ‘channel agnostic’ solutions based on strategy, creativity and business insights.”
