by | Sep 9, 2022

Khoros, an award-winning leader in digital-first customer engagement software and services, announced the promotions of Staci Satterwhite to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Kathie Jones to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Satterwhite was formerly Chief Customer Officer (CCO), and Jones was formerly Vice President, Global Controller. Both report to Chris Tranquill, CEO at Khoros, and serve alongside the broader Khoros leadership team. With these promotions, over 50% of Khoros’s C-suite identifies as female.

“I’m proud to promote Staci and Kathie to COO and CFO, respectively,” said Tranquill. “Both are inspiring leaders who have fostered high-achieving teams that support the success of our organization, as well as our customers. I’m excited to see their leadership at Khoros evolve in these new capacities.”

Staci Satterwhite joined Khoros as CCO in 2020 with over 30 years of technology experience, including customer-facing leadership roles in services and sales at top companies. In her new role as COO, Satterwhite will work closely with Tranquill and Khoros’s executive leadership team on the company’s strategic direction. Her responsibilities also expand to include additional parts of the business, including Strategic Services and other operational functions, that drive and deliver value and outcomes for Khoros customers.

“I am honored to be Khoros’s first COO, furthering our efforts to accelerate our customer strategies, services, and success. At Khoros, we hold our customer partnerships in the highest regard, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to ensure they see maximum value in our Khoros platform and services so they can create customers for life,” said Satterwhite.

Kathie Jones is a seasoned financial and operational executive with over 20 years of industry experience at public and private companies, including Fortune 500 organizations like Dell, Kemet Electronics, and TD Bank. Jones joined Khoros as Vice President, Global Controller in 2021 where she led the Accounting and Pricing & Contracts functions. In her new role as CFO, Jones will be responsible for leading Khoros’s global finance organization, supporting the company’s financial strength and growth. Jones succeeds April Downing, who now serves as a senior advisor and will provide continued support through the transition.

“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside our talented finance team for over a year, and I’m honored to be their leader in this next phase of growth. I’m excited to start this new chapter at Khoros and build upon the work April has established, continuing to strive for optimal efficiency and organizational alignment through strategy, execution, and discipline,” said Jones.
