Lambert, Edwards & Associates, a top-10 national investor relations and financial communications firm, announced the hiring of two new team members to support the company’s growth and recent acquisition of New York City-based financial communications firm, Owen Blicksilver. Drew Hall and Andrew Sedlar join the firm as investor relations coordinators. Both will play key roles in supporting the breadth and depth of Lambert’s communications offerings for public and privately held clientele.
Hall joins the team in the Grand Rapids office after recently graduating from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) with bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics. While at GVSU, Drew was a finance portfolio manager at the school’s Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization (IPO), where he was responsible for analyzing potential stock picks and presenting his findings to the more than 75 members of the organization. In addition to his time at Seidman IPO, Drew was also an academy fellow at Design Thinking GVSU, where he collaborated with other academy members to solve challenging business, social and civic issues with innovative problem-solving techniques.
Sedlar will also join the Grand Rapids office following his recent graduation from Michigan Technological University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. While at Michigan Tech, Andrew was a member of the Applied Portfolio Management Program and worked with a small team of students to research and implement an investment program to deploy more than $1.5 million into various asset classes.
“Over the firm’s 20-year history, we’ve been able to grow each year while doing great work for our clients, as evidenced by our recent PRSA Silver Anvil award win for superior financial communications,” said Mike Houston, senior director of investor relations at Lambert. “As we further expand our integrated communications offerings, we felt it was a great time to capitalize on new opportunities in the industry with the support of Andrew and Drew.”
