MCC, a Dallas-based integrated marketing communications firm, has been selected as a finalist for the 2018 Dallas-Fort Worth American Marketing Association Marketer of the Year Awards in the energy marketing category for its work with natural gas provider, Kinetrex Energy.

In 2017, Kinetrex Energy was looking to build brand awareness, trust and correct the misperceptions surrounding natural gas. MCC started by conducting market research and translating that research into a multi-faceted communications package that effectively reached Kinetrex Energy’s key audiences.
MCC created and developed two paid media campaigns, as well as creative work to support the campaigns. Both campaigns incorporated retargeting and geotargeting banner ads that ran across different channels in Indiana and the surrounding states and transferred users back to the Kinetrex Energy website. In addition to these campaigns, MCC also produced two videos that are featured on Kinetrex Energy’s website.
Overall, Kinetrex Energy saw a 700 percent increase in active prospects that directly correlates to the 350 percent increase in website traffic which was caused by the 9.1 million digital impressions generated by the two campaigns. These tangible results point to a resounding success for Kinetrex Energy and its partnership with MCC.
