McGrath/Power Hires Kristin Bleier as New VP, Jill Hamilton as Culture Manager

by | Nov 15, 2017

McGrath/Power, an independent integrated communications agency, has named two new members to its growing team. Kristin Bleier joins the agency as a vice president and will be responsible for leading account teams and driving new business and development, as well as overall agency management. Jill Hamilton rounds out the administrative team and will drive initiatives to enhance the company culture as the agency’s people, culture & operations manager.

“Both Kristin and Jill bring deep knowledge in their respective fields and are welcome additions to our team as we prepare for a busy 2018,” said Jonathan Bloom, McGrath/Power CEO and founding partner. “Our agency culture is very important to us, and we are happy to have two fun and talented people on board. Each of them have already made positive impacts on our agency culture and client programs, and I look forward to seeing what great things are to come.”

Bleier has more than 20 years of experience working both in-house and at agencies in Silicon Valley, including NetApp, Allison+Partners and The Hoffman Agency. She has run global integrated communications programs for both enterprise and consumer clients, such as Samsung Mobile, Plantronics and HP. This has helped her develop a broad skill set—something that is invaluable at an agency where the status quo is continuously challenged.

“My two decades of technology PR experience has taught me that colleagues are critical to success,” said Bleier. “I am excited to work with a team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and truly believes that no idea is too wild to at least explore. It is rare to find an agency that has such a great company culture and an interesting and diverse client mix that will inspire me to keep pushing the communications boundaries.”

Hamilton joins the McGrath/Power team from Naehas, a content management platform company where she was the first human resources professional hired to build the department, establish process and policies, and work with the CEO on various strategic HR initiatives. Prior to that, she worked in Human Resources for The Walt Disney Company as the analyst for the Performance Management platform. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing the performance management process, training and communication. She also managed testing for multiple Enterprise HRIS systems.

“Company culture has definitely taken on a whole new meaning over the last decade, and bright, in-demand talent is looking for a familial community that enables them to grow,” said Hamilton. “McGrath/Power already has a vibrant culture that was built over the last three decades through transparent collaboration across accounts, as well as regular team building and company outings. I am looking forward to nurturing the current team, while adding new talent to the mix as the agency continues to expand.”
