New Downtown Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Renowned Cape Cod Escape Name Diamond Public Relations as Agency of Record

by | Jan 22, 2020

Diamond Public Relations has expanded its client roster with the addition of Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale in South Florida and Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The Miami-based agency will handle all North American public relations efforts for the properties with initiatives designed to position the hotels as top travel destinations within their respective markets.

Located at the corner of SE 1st Ave and Las Olas Boulevard in what is destined to become the tallest building in Fort Lauderdale at 499 feet, Hyatt Centric Las Olas is a modern escape in a sought after part of the city. With downtown skyline views and easy access to the water, it pays homage to the coastal destination’s yachting culture; the property’s nautically inspired design features colors, textures, and shapes that seamlessly blend with its surroundings. Features include 238 stylish guest rooms, more than 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, and 113 luxury condominium residences, beginning on the 16th level. The ground floor Harborwood Urban Kitchen and Bar will tempt guests and area residents with its street level seating while the sky-high Elev8 Rooftop pool and bar will feature panoramic downtown views, fire pits and private cabanas.

Moving north, renowned for its family friendly appeal and vast programming, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club has earned its spot as one of Cape Cod’s crown jewels. The AAA Four- Diamond resort provides two distinct experiences: The Mansion, a Victorian-style building that’s earned a coveted spot on the National Register of Historic Places, and The Villages, a collection of cozy villas, with one, two and three-bedroom lodging options. The latter will soon reveal a major upgrade following its current renovation. Spread across 429 acres of lush, manicured grounds, the award-winning property provides experiences as diverse as its accommodations. Features include multiple dining options, an on-site spa, the area’s only Nicklaus Design golf course, five pools, nine tennis courts, a rotating menu of special events, seasonal oyster bed tours and more.

Diamond Public Relations Vice President Kara Rosner commented, “Hyatt Centric Las Olas brings a new level of urban sophistication to Fort Lauderdale and Ocean Edge is one of New England’s top, established resorts. While two completely different projects, our agency experience aligns with both with a successful track record of launching new hotels as well as propelling existing properties forward. We look forward to these partnerships and escalating the awareness of both hotels in their respective regional markets as well as nationally.”
