Newlink, a Miami-based collaborative consulting firm with company-owned offices in Argentina, Mexico, Peru and Dominican Republic, announced the promotion of Sabrina Lacle to Director of the Tourism practice. In her new role, Lacle will be part of Newlink’s leadership team, providing senior counsel and management of account teams for tourism clients.

“Sabrina is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience executing global communications strategies for Newlink’s diverse client portfolio,” said Teresa Villarreal, Executive Vice President of Newlink. “Her expertise including in the areas of destination marketing, regional alignment and budget management, have served our clients well and I’m eager to see her support the expansion of the practice.”

As Director, Lacle will also assume increased responsibilities on multiple fronts including new business development, talent management, contributing to the firm’s proprietary Orbital Strategy development, crisis management, among others. Newlink Tourism practice offers the full gamut of strategic consultation services including trade relations, media relations, event/activation marketing, media planning and buying, digital marketing, research, social media and more.

Lacle joined Newlink in 2013 and has lead numerous accounts and projects including the Mexico City Tourism Board, Guatemala Tourism Board, Quito Tourism Board, LATAM Airlines Group, JW Marriott Miami, La Coleccion, Amadeus, among others. During her time at Newlink, she has helped the firm achieve a variety of milestones including Silver and Bronze Stevie awards for public relation’s campaign of the year in 2014 and 2015.

Prior to joining Newlink, Sabrina served as Director at AMGW, where she oversaw the public relations department and developed major public relations campaigns for travel and real estate clients in Latin America, the Caribbean and South Florida. She also worked at Lou Hammond & Associates and PPR Communications.
