PR Placement Opp: Celebrities Needed to Appear on Travel Channel’s “Famous & Afraid”

by | Jan 4, 2019

Celebrities are needed to appear on the dynamic prime time series “Famous & Afraid,” which airs on the Travel Channel, seen in over 90 million households in the United States, as well as internationally in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Pan Europe, Pan Latin America, etc. “If the celebrity has projects to promote, we would be happy to discuss ways to incorporate them into the interview,” says Talent Producer Paul Scott Adamo.

“We will pay the celebrity a substantial honorarium for doing the interview.”

The interview will take about an hour to 90 minutes. “We are shooting in January and February. We can try to accommodate the celebrity’s schedule and find a tape date that is convenient,” Adamo adds.

From executive producers Seth Jarrett and Julie Insogna Jarrett (creators of the hit series “The Haunting Of”), “Famous & Afraid” features celebrities telling haunting tales of their run-ins with the unexplained. From haunted houses to real UFO sightings to possessed objects and beyond, these stories are scary and prove that no one, not even stars, are safe from unexplained phenomena. “This is not just about paranormal stories—-we are interested in any type of unexplainable experience that has happened to a celebrity,” says Adamo.

Travel Channel is the world’s leading travel media brand. Travel Channel is owned by Discovery, Inc., a global leader in real life entertainment whose portfolio also includes Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
