Prosek Partners, a leading integrated marketing and strategic communications firm, announced that Joan Vollero, Senior Advisor for External Affairs at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, has joined the firm as Vice President.
In her previous role, Vollero led communications in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, the leading state prosecutor’s office in the country, where she was a senior adviser to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. during his three terms in office.

Prior to joining the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, Vollero served as a spokesperson for the Manhattan Borough President, and worked as a journalist at NY1 News, where she served as a Political Producer and won an Associated Press Award for her work on the daily, hour-long political program Inside City Hall. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the development, launch and international licensing of anime-based programs, including Kirby, Sonic X, Yu-gi-oh! and Pokemon.

Vollero is a graduate of Tufts University, and received her master’s from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
