RF|Binder announced that Maggie Boezi and Amy Grosheider, two senior executives with extensive experience within the food and drinks industry, have joined RF|Binder. Maggie joins as a Senior Managing Director, and Amy as a Managing Director.
“We are thrilled to have Maggie and Amy join our team,” said Atalanta Rafferty, Executive Managing Director, Food, Drinks and Nutrition Practice of RF|Binder. “Their seasoned backgrounds will bolster the team’s existing expertise, and help us continue to drive innovative programming at a time of rapid change in the industry. These additions are important as the industry continues to evolve—one only has to look at the feature of the “Future Market” Pop-Up at this week’s Fancy Food Show to understand the disruption happening in the food industry today.”
RF|Binder’s Food, Drinks and Nutrition Practice has grown and evolved over the years, working with leading brands and launching startups, as well as driving awareness and acceptance for new-to-the-market ingredients. The team’s work encompasses stakeholder engagement, corporate and brand positioning, issues management as well as innovative B2B and consumer programming. The practice also offers unique expertise in working with early-stage food brands, such as Thrive Culinary Algae Oil, to help build engaging narratives and drive the awareness and advocacy needed for business growth. RF|Binder’s team works at the intersection of established brands, food technology and startups, mining the trends and societal issues that are driving the changing landscape.
The addition of Maggie and Amy also expands RF|Binder’s deep bench of female leadership at and above the Managing Director level, which is currently made up of 56% women. “I’ve always found it important to foster a leadership team that represents the voices of women,” Amy Binder, CEO of RF|Binder said. “We are a predominantly female industry, with predominantly male leadership, and we are looking to be part of changing that dynamic.”
