Sachs Media Group Wins Small PR Firm of the Year Honors

by | Sep 28, 2018

Sachs Media Group is honored to have been named the 2018 Small PR Firm of the Year by PR News.

“It is a great honor to be awarded Small PR Firm of the Year,” said Ron Sachs, founder and CEO of the award-winning firm. “It is our top priority to present our clients with unmatched quality, expertise, and creativity––this award is a testament to the skill, dedication, and ingenuity we put behind every client and campaign.”

Sachs Media Group was chosen among firms throughout the U.S. of similar size all judged on their innovation, client growth, retention, and culture. Sachs Media Group is routinely ranked one of Florida’s and America’s leading independent communications companies, and was previously named Florida’s top environmental and public affairs PR firm (and 11th in the nation) by O’Dwyer’s.

Twice this decade, the firm received the top honor for best public relations campaign in Florida awarded by the Florida Public Relations Association. Described by team members as “dynamic, fun” and “family-like,” it is clear to see why the firm maintains a 91 percent employee retention rate. Sachs Media Group’s client retention rate is also strong, with a large roster of clients engaging the firm for five or 10 years. The firm has recently represented respected organizations including the American Chemistry Council, HCA, Carnival Corporation, Lyft, Pfizer, American Cancer Society, Ben Crump Law, Sonny’s BBQ, The Florida Bar, and Farm Share.

A few highlights of the firm’s work from the past year:

  • To educate Floridians on the once-every-20-year convening of the Constitution Revision Commission (CRC), Sachs Media Group conducted in-depth research, uncovering valuable insights that led to the development of Protect Florida Democracy: Our Constitution. Our Rights. Our Courts. This highly successful public education program delivered more than 68 million advertising impressions, garnered thousands of social followers, and contributed to doubling awareness among voters of the role of the CRC.
  • Continued work with Farm Share to position the non-profit organization as a leader in the hunger relief conversation, using its deep roots with Florida farmers to tie positive stories with Farm Share’s messaging about food waste and hunger.
  • Promoted the annual “Healthy Pools” campaign once again with the American Chemistry Council, securing national outcomes in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The TODAY Show, and Huffington Post.
  • Helped Ben Crump Law spark important conversations on social injustice through raising Attorney Crump’s national reputation through dozens of high-profile interviews with outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, and TIME Magazine.
