Savanta Acquires UK Division of Market Research and Data Analytics Agency Future Thinking

by | Feb 12, 2020

Savanta, the global intelligence business, announced the acquisition of the UK division of Future Thinking, a global data driven intelligence company that combines research with data science to produce actionable insight for clients, including Unilever, British Gas and LEGO.

“We welcome the Future Thinking UK team to Savanta with open arms,” comments Roger Perowne, Global CEO at Savanta. “We’re pleased to announce the acquisition of Future Thinking UK. We’re joining together with a team of specialist consultants with the experience needed to advise brands on key decisions they face every day.”

Underpinned by the proposition to ‘Make better decisions’, Savanta was formed to re-engineer research to fuel faster, easier and more effective decision making for marketers and insight professionals.

Part of the Next15 Group, Savanta brings together the benefits of a smaller agency approach with specialist expertise. The business has a global team of over 250, including a Cambridge-based innovation hub of 20, and five offices worldwide.

The UK management team will remain with the business and there will be no immediate changes to the day-to-day running of the company.

Simon Mason, Executive Chairman of Future Thinking Group, added: “We are very pleased to have sold the UK business to such a well-known and capable operator in the sector in Savanta. Future Thinking UK has a very talented team of researchers and I think the combination of their expertise with Savanta’s capabilities is very exciting.

“Outside of this acquisition our other businesses – Gemseek and Future Thinking France– delivered very strong results in 2019 and there is much more to come from them in 2020 as they continue to align themselves to clients’ needs and provide innovative and exciting solutions for large businesses across Europe”.
