Warschawski, a full-service advertising, marketing, digital, public relations, branding, web design, VR/AR, videography and photography, creative and crisis communications agency, celebrates the 20th anniversary of COO Shana Harris with the agency. To mark this milestone, the agency held an event at the historic Mt. Washington Tavern full of festivities and activities.
Shana joined Warschawski in 1998 as a Junior Associate and has grown with the agency, being named Chief Operating Officer in 2012. In her role as COO, Shana oversees the agency’s operations, client accounts, long-term strategic planning, human resources, and plays an integral role in new business development. Under her leadership, Warschawski has delivered outstanding results for a broad range of clients and high profile brands, including: Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK), The Track & Field Store, Xcel Brands (NASDAQ: XELB), Black & Decker, Under Armour, DEWALT, LifeBridge Health, Hogan Lovells, Pompeian, Maggie Moo’s, Century 21, Hair Cuttery, Alex Cooper, and Janet, Janet and Suggs, LLC, among others.
Shana has been a driving force behind the continual growth of the agency, playing an instrumental role in its evolution into one of the first full-service marketing communications firms and overseeing more than 200 award wins, including the 2017 “U.S. Small Firm of the Year” and “Best U.S. Small Agency To Work For” honors. A thought leader in the branding and marketing communications spaces, Shana is frequently sought out for comment and her expertise, often quoted by the regional and national media on PR/Crisis Communications and branding issues and is regularly invited to speak at regional, national and international conferences.
Her dedication, positive outlook, personal touch and passion are evident to all who work with Warschawski. Affectionately known as ‘Mama Shana,’ she maintains an open door policy, mentors and counsels all team members on how to achieve their personal and professional goals, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every Warschawski client is thrilled with the results delivered by the agency.
“Shana leads by example through her incredible dedication and motivation to exceed expectations. She does whatever it takes for our clients and team members to achieve success, which have resulted in countless rave reviews. It is not uncommon to have treats and flowers delivered to her by clients and members of the W team as an expression of appreciation for all that she does,” said David Warschawski, CEO and founder of Warschawski. “It’s rare to find someone as dedicated to an agency as Shana is to Warschawski, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without her care and strong leadership. She has been a true friend and business partner to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had her by my side for the past two decades.”
Shana brings the same level of dedication and passion to her personal life. She has been married to her husband for twenty-four years, with three children and one grandchild. She is a self-described fitness fanatic, working out daily and teaching Insanity classes. In addition to her personal and professional responsibilities, Shana is active in the Baltimore community, serving on the boards for Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc. (CHAI), Shoresh and Sinai Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, as well as on the advisory boards for The Associated and Pearlstone.
Mentor, Mother, Trainer and COO, Shana is often sought after to share her secret for “Having it all.”
