Impact PR & Communications, the Hudson Valley’s award-winning public relations and marketing agency, announced today that it has promoted Sheila Bogan to account manager. The promotion comes on the heels of Sheila’s one-year anniversary of joining Impact, and as a direct result of her contributions to the agency, among them: community leadership, superb client relations skills and award-winning results.
Bogan, a 2019 Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce (DCRCOC) Forty Under 40 recipient, joined the agency as a senior account executive. In her first year with Impact PR & Communications, she has successfully led campaigns for several of the firm’s legacy accounts, and has made meaningful strides with event planning, social media counsel, writing and media relations on behalf of her clients, and the agency.
“In just one year, our team has come to rely on Sheila’s skill set both inside the office and out in the community – demonstrating her commitment to our agency’s core values, and our clients,” said Filomena Fanelli, CEO and founder of Impact PR & Communications. “More recently, with Covid-19 making its mark on businesses large and small, she has shown a keen ability to pivot, and provide meaningful crisis communications counsel when it’s called for. What has become clear is this: not even a global pandemic can slow Sheila down.”
Bogan is a graduate of the Leadership Dutchess Class of 2019 and is co-chair of the Membership and Communications committee for the Hudson Valley Young Professionals. A graduate of St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, Bogan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, Journalism and Digital Arts and, in her spare time, supports community organizations such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
