London, UK, Tuesday 11th August 2026: Specialist sports communication agency Soapbox has added former England international, Ashley Young, to its elite talent roster.

The London based agency, who already have talent such as Anthony Joshua and Luke Littler on their books, will be looking after the Premier League legend’s PR and social media activity. Ashley will continue his close relationship with Nicola Nolan and her team at Belmont Sports & Entertainment as they continue to be his long term commercial agent.

Following successful collaboration with Belmont Sports & Entertainment in the past, this partnership with the Premier League winner is the latest move to help build Ashley’s profile, since his retirement at the end of last season, around his regular work as a pundit for Sky Sport’s Premier League coverage for the 26/27 season.

Soapbox Co-Founder Andy Bell, said: “Talent is the foundation that we built Soapbox on and continues to be a core focus for us as we grow. Working with someone of Ashley’s stature in the game is an absolute honour and a testament to the trust he’s put in our team. He’s at a really exciting stage of his career having achieved what most can only dream of on the pitch. It’s a pleasure to support the work Nicola and the team do at Belmont Sports & Entertainment and we can’t wait to get started!”

The appointment comes during an exciting period of growth for Soapbox after recent consumer client wins including Target Darts, Baller League and Ten Percent Club and off the back of two nominations for Specialist Consultancy of the Year and Sports Agency of the Year at the PR Week and Sports Business Awards respectively.

Young, whose honours also include a FA Cup, EFL Cup, UEFA Europa League and Serbia A title further strengthens Soapbox’s established credentials in talent publicity, already supporting the likes of Anthony Joshua, Luke Littler, Billy Monger and Karen Carney.

The signing for Soapbox further demonstrates the agency’s growing reputation in the sports industry and its ability to deliver strategic communications campaigns for leading sports athletes, brands and organisations. The agency’s current stable of clients includes Matchroom Boxing, Red Bull, Baller League, the PDC, Formula E, Hippodrome Casino, Ten Percent Club, Anthony Joshua and Jamie Chadwick.
