The PHA Group Partners with Voltalis to Propel Energy Flexibility Technology in the UK

by | Sep 25, 2024

[London, 25, September]The PHA Group, a leading PR and communications agency with a strong foothold in the energy sector, has announced a new partnership with Voltalis, a pioneer in energy flexibility. Following a competitive pitch process, The PHA Group was selected to lead the UK launch of Voltalis’ innovative products, helping to position the company as a key player in the UK energy market while driving awareness of its patented technology.

PhaVoltalis is transforming the energy landscape with its technology that optimises existing electrically heated hot water and heating systems of a property, such as electric radiators, water heaters, and heat pumps. Voltalis’ technology automatically modulates energy flow to heating and hot water systems, enabling customers to reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions and save money on monthly bills. All without lifting a finger or spending a penny,

This not only reduces reliance on CO2-emitting power plants during peak demand periods but also supports the UK’s goal of enhancing energy security.

With operations in seven European countries, and now the UK, Voltalis has plans to expand into three million more homes and businesses across Europe over the next five to seven years.

In the UK its innovative technology has the potential to reduce overall energy consumption in the UK equivalent to the power generated by a nuclear power plant, significantly alleviating the strain on the National Grid during peak periods.

The PHA Group will play a crucial role in Voltalis’ UK market entry, offering comprehensive event and PR support. This includes crafting targeted messaging to effectively communicate the complex yet transformative nature of demand response technology to UK audiences. The partnership aims to bolster Voltalis’ brand equity, increase its share of voice in the UK market, and profile the UK Managing Director, Dr Randall Bowen, as a leading spokesperson in the energy sector.

The collaboration between Voltalis and The PHA Group is driven by a shared mission to educate consumers and industry stakeholders on the importance of energy flexibility. With increased awareness, the aim is to showcase the potential of Voltalis’ technology in addressing fuel poverty and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Dr Randall Bowen, Managing Director, Voltalis UK, comments: “We are excited to partner with The PHA Group at this pivotal moment for Voltalis. As we expand our footprint in the UK, The PHA Group’s deep expertise in the energy sector and strong network within the sustainability space make them the perfect partner to help us communicate our vision. Together, we look forward to introducing this completely free technology to the UK which is already being deployed in hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across Europe.

Helen Salvin, Head of Sustainability at The PHA Group, comments: “Voltalis is a highly respected name within the global energy flexibility industry, but awareness of the technology and services is low in the UK. Our goal is to help Voltalis communicate this technical concept to a wider audience, highlighting its critical role in addressing fuel poverty and enhancing energy security. As the UK strives to increase energy flexibility, consumer and industry education will be key to success. We are excited to support Voltalis in this endeavour.”
