After 20+ years practicing Public Relations, two communications powerhouses, Nancy Caravetta and Jessica Goldberg, join forces to form Rebel Gail, a boutique communications agency. Both Caravetta and Goldberg had founded their own agencies in 2015, Rebel Cause Public Relations and Irwin Gail Communications respectively. By bringing the two agencies together, Rebel Gail combines the expertise of Caravetta, a leader in the healthcare sector and Goldberg, an expert in the beauty/lifestyle sector, to form an agency specializing in brands where these two industries collide.
“With the aesthetics category growing in both Pharma and OTC, we saw a need for an agency that could focus on brands that need both health and beauty expertise,” explains Joint-CEO Caravetta.
Rebel Gail has already showcased their talents. Growing quickly with a team of five and a network of industry specialists, the agency has worked with some of the top companies in the beauty and healthcare space including L’Oréal and Edgewell Personal Care. Rebel Gail has already won two industry awards for digital and social media marketing for their work on #WomenNotObjects and has been nominated for Sabre awards for their work with Vertical Pharmaceuticals and Edgewell Personal Care.
As Rebel Gail continues to grow, Caravetta and Goldberg have put numerous proprietary tools and actions in place to make sure every campaign they execute not only helps their clients grow but represents the values they want to live by every day. This includes a portion of agency fees going to help a family in need through The Rebel Foundation, as well as a proprietary client portal, BrandReveal, which allows clients to see agency hours, fees and working documents in real time.
“Nancy and I wanted to create an agency that brought back values we felt were missing from the communications industry—transparency and honesty. With The Rebel Foundation and BrandReveal, we can create strategic and effective campaigns for our clients in the most honest way while knowing we are helping others,” says Joint-CEO Goldberg.
